“It helped me grow [beyond] a previous relationship and some tough times.”
– D. Wilkerson
What makes WPDSports meaningful? The athlete. Community. Whole person development. Named after a Greek letter, each small group reflects a band of brothers, working out their existence within the framework of soul and sport. Launching into adulthood. Athletes growing in heart, soul, mind, and strength for the sake of self and others.
- Laughing and crying.
- Frustration and solution.
- Sin and redemption.
- Failure and success.
- Pride and humility.
- Individual and yet part of a greater team.
WPDers, we are moved by our time together. Now, we will let you all have the “mic” or at least some real estate to share a brief word from your lengthier reflections. Thank you for letting us share a part of your story.
